When we last left Lara Croft in 2013, she had just finished her first big adventure, finding the world a much bigger and stranger place than she had originally thought, and vowing to find the secrets that led to her father’s death.
When we meet up with Lara again in 2015’s “Rise of the Tomb Raider“.
Rini: Rise up.
She’s traveling with her friend and returning character from the first game, Jonah.
Rini: Jonah’s amazing, by the way. Jonah’s awesome. Save Jonah. Jonah’s the best.
As they climb a mountain range in Siberia, looking for the lost city of Kitezh, and a potential immortality item known as the Divine Source that her father was obsessed with.
Rini: Well, what happens if it was not quite as divine? If it was pretty decent source? Or suitable source?Or doing okay source? Anyways.
After surviving an avalanche, she must race to find the lost city before a religious paramilitary force named Trinity finds it first.
Rini: “The Avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.“
So, several things have changed in the time that I started working on this review, and now that I’m able to write it out. One is the creation of a new mod manager for the rebooted Tomb Raider games. Originally named R-O-T-T-R…
Rini: Rotor!
Mod Manager, it has become the TR Reboot Tools Mod Manager.
(NOTE: You can download the Mod Manager from any of the different Tomb Raider Survivor series games on Nexus. Despite the different name listed, it’s the same program, just changes names depending on which game is selected.)
Rini: Not Rotor!
That works with all three of the Survivor series.
Rini: Oh, that’s kind of cool. I might have to put that on mine now.
This has also removed some of the problems with some mods only being usable on the Steam version, and others only being usable on the Epic Games version.
Rini: Ha, that’s good.
First up is Lara Nude (Curvy Body) Version X by Jostar, whom we will see has done extensive modding for the Rise of the Tomb Raider. This mod forms the basis for several mods made by Jostar, and comes in several sizes.
Rini: Like boobies.
Exactly like boobies. From Small, B-Cup, C-Cup, Double D-Cup, and Large.
(NOTE: All of these files are listed under the “Lara Nude” listing. I can’t link to them individually)
Rini: Wait, isn’t Double-D and large a little redundant or repetitive?
Larger than Double-D. Bra sizes are getting larger.
Rini: I wouldn’t know.
All have trimmed pubic hair and few accessories, so no belt for items or shoes. You can add shoes with Naked Laura with Boots, Version X, which allows Laura to have black, white, or pink thigh-high boots.
Rini: Pink thigh-high boots in Siberia sounds weird. Just wrong. I’m okay, apparently, with a woman running around butt-ass naked, but pink thigh-high boots apparently is a bridge too far.
Just be sure to also have the Curvy Body installed as well, or there will be problems.
Rini: I don’t know why, but that just strikes me as funny. Have the Curvy Body installed, or there will be problems.
She looks like, you know in the original Star Trek where the characters have black on one side and white on the other? (NOTE: The episode is “Let That Be Your Last Battlefield”)
Rini: Oh, yeah.
Kind of looks like that. Lara can also have a holster on her thigh with Naked Laura with Gun Holster, Version X. As a matter of fact, the amount of customization can get rather insane. You can give her a bikini tan line, a shaved pussy or giant bush, lacy stockings, fishnet stockings, transparent stockings, wet skin, a topless version with short shorts and the most defined abs ever (NOTE: This has a seperate listing, but still needs the Curvy Body mod installed first).
There is even a version with cum dangling out of her vagina.
Rini: I did see that one, and that was just also beyond the pale for me. So we could just have pink thigh-high boots and cum dangling out of her snatch. That would be something.
There are also several cheesecake but safer work outfits as well that use this base model. Just be sure to have the right outfit selected since they are attached to different clothing slots.
And if you want to not have the various equipment hanging off of her skin, you can also install Universal Holstered Gun Hider by Raq which removes all gear except for some that have to be equipped, like the bow. Works with most of the mods on this list.
Jostar didn’t stop there as they also did a set of mods under the title TRU Laura Bikini Version X. Mostly different styles of bikinis, but with some variations. Like the Curvy Body Mod, you’ll need the main one installed first, then add the secondary mods like Sarong Beach Cover Up Topless Version X, which gives Lara a slightly see-through sarong around her waist. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get any of the other naughtier mods to work with this one.
Rini: I just think of Thomas Crown Affair when I see sarongs.
Meantime, another set of adult mods popped up with Slightly Jiggly Lara by Orangy. This contains a set of different nude mod outfits for Lara along with some extra bones for the animation so she jiggles a little bit. Though when they say slightly, they mean it, and it only works with the Expedition Jacket outfit.
Rini: So we’re not talking beach volleyball here?
No.
Unlike other mods, it is pretty easy to see the changed outfits in the clothing menu, though one of them is a fake-out. Each one is perfectly themed, such as the outfit Lara is caught in fits perfectly, and the DLC Witch Garb is amazing.
Rini: That was the one you were showing me, right?
Yeah, the one where she had like the skull.
Rini: Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was a cool mod. I like that, that looked cool.
There is also a clothed cyberpunk outfit which makes Lara look like she stepped out of a Ghost in the Shell episode.
Rini: That I don’t think you showed me.
I’ll have to show you that one. There is an extra mod that will add pubic hair to all the outfits and an athletic add-on that changes the Expedition to a lightly bustier and more fit Lara.
Orangy also did some other experiments and came up with the standalone Lara Translucent Bodysuit, which replaces her stealth outfit with a truly skin-tight outfit that has cutouts in all the right places.
Rini: Or all the right places.
As well as some bit of optical stealth tech that lets you see some things vaguely behind the suit.
Meanwhile, a modder named skr68 decided to build on Orangy’s mods to create Nudes of the Tomb Raider. Their Lara has most of the same outfits as Orangy, but has made her bustier. They have also made more than Lara nude, with separate nude mods for Ana, her father’s girlfriend; Sophia, Jacob’s daughter; and Nadia, who is part of the Baba Yaga DLC. There is also a nude mod for most of the women in the Geothermal Valley. All of them have versions with or without pubic hair. Lara, Ana, and Sophia also have extra makeup on, which you can then remove with an extra No Makeup mod. Why it’s not the reverse, I have no idea.

Rini: Boys like makeup? Boys like taking off makeup? I don’t know.
Sophia has a Hot version, which adds piercing to her nipples and labia.
Rini: Did Sophia ask for that? That sounds uncomfortable.
Lara’s mods are the cleanest ones. The other women have some problems with texture changes in certain lights and angles. Ana’s are especially noticeable in the cut scenes, along with the fact her face and hands’ skin texture are noticeably paler than the naked body.
(NOTE: These mods have been update in the last few days and are much better.)
Still, these are incredible additions, rather than just having Lara alone being nude. And one last little extra mod for skr68, under the Nudes of the Tomb Raider heading, called Lara Naughty Flat, which alters some of the pictures in her apartment visible during the flashback scene and on the menu screen. Specifically, her laptop wallpaper and a few photos of her with other characters. A nice extra touch for the game.
So that’s it for the moment for this chapter of the Lara Croft Survivor Series of games. Though I do have to add a couple of extra notes about the first game in a minute.

Recently, a nude mod has shown up on moddinghaven.com for the Tomb Raider 2013 game. There’s a Lara nude mod, but also for her friend Samantha, and her crewmate Reyes, all by the modder Irastris. These are meant as standalone mods with .bat files to alter the game files, but it doesn’t take too much work to get them to work with the Mod Manager, mostly just removing some of the extra files. The only drawback is that the files for Sam in the Sacrificial Outfit caused the game to crash whenever she shows up, and I haven’t figured out how to make them work, so just don’t load those.
However, skr68 has managed to jump on this bandwagon like they did with Rise of the Tomb Raider.
Rini: Rise up.
And created A Survivor to be Born (With Physics) –And her friends.
Rini: That sounds like it should be like a Filmation cartoon title card.

Rini: Exactly.
This gives you Lara, Samantha, Reyes, but also the undead Himiko. This takes advantage of the fact the game changes Lara’s appearance as the story progresses. In the regular nude mod, her makeup and jewelry change as she goes along. There’s also a pregnancy mod which Lara gets progressively larger, suggesting something else happened to her when she got kidnapped at the beginning of the game.
Rini: I know you shouldn’t kink shame, but BLEEEEYYY!
Though honestly, I don’t think they were on the island that long. You can also add in a Lara nude mod
with physics on top of the regular mod for a little more jiggle. Both the Samantha and Reyes mod come with and without pubic hair, and no special outfit for Sam’s sacrifice.
And like skr68’s Rise mods, they included a Naked Images mod, which changes some of the images found in the game. Great to see that people are continuing to evolve mods for these games and we’ll cover the final entry into this series soon.
